Lady Lava’s “Ring Finger” Featured on Cardi B’s “Summertime Sounds” Playlist

Port of Spain, Trinidad – International music sensation Cardi B is yet again showing love to Trinidad and Tobago’s Queen of Steam, Lady Lava. In her recent release of her Apple playlist titled “Summertime Sounds”, Cardi B listed Lady Lava’s “Ring Finger” as one of her daily must-listen songs. 

Of the 26 songs, which include the likes of GloRilla, Kehlani, Latto, Beyonce, Tyla, Summer Walker, Sza and Vybz Kartel, Lady Lava is the lone female mention from the Caribbean. Sharing her excitement, Lady Lava share that “When I first saw my ‘Ring Finger’ was featured on Cardi’s list, I was blown away.” She adds, “I am appreciative of the love that Cardi shows me and my music and I am humbled to be included on a list with so many musical giants.”

Now, almost a year since its release, ‘Ring Finger’ continues to make a global impact. By including ‘Ring Finger’, Lady Lava gains well-deserved exposure to Cardi’s massive audience. The choice underscores Cardi B’s ongoing support for emerging talent and her ear for infectious rhythms and music.
